Glint Welcomes New Art Director

Glint Advertising - March 16, 2022 - 0 comments

Glint Advertising welcomes Jerry Medireck as art director.

Jerry is a seasoned graphic designer who earned his master’s degree in fine arts and media design from Full Sail University. He completed his bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the historic Florida A&M University (FAMU).

As a design student, he received nine awards, most notably from the American Advertising Federation (AAF/ADDY). Jerry served as president of the FAMU American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) student group and built a reputation around ushering in professional opportunities for other students. He also served as art director for the on-campus student magazine Journey.

He is most proud of his training about bridging the gap between the creative studio and the boardroom. It helped him navigate professionally as a full-time graphic designer at OneWorld Properties in Miami.

A proud Floridian, Jerry is of Haitian descent and loves to eat, travel, cook and watch TV.

We had fun asking Jerry these off-the-wall questions. Read his responses:

What’s your favorite breakfast cereal?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I haven’t eaten cereal in a while. Crazy!

What are three apps that are always open?

Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. You will never see me on any app but those three.

How would your friends describe you?

My friends would describe me as funny, outgoing, and an adventurous introvert (whatever that means).

Which song can you listen to all day long?

It would have to be “Back Together” by Amorphous and Kehlani.

You have a late-night talk show. Who do you invite as your first guest?

I would bring my best friend first. Because why not? He’s my best friend. We will blow the roof off that stage!

Do you collect anything?

When I was younger, I collected wrestling games, preferably WWE. I used to put them in my closet in a container. And whenever I want to play a WWE game on my PlayStation, I take it out of the container and play that specific game. The rest is history.

If you could bring back any fashion trend, what would it be?

Corduroy. That’s it.
