01. Glint Celebrates 20 Years
For our 20th Anniversary, we are making 2020 a year to pause and reflect. Glint wants to celebrate twenty years of business by having people share their stories and business journeys. Everyone has a story, and it has been quite the journey for us; let’s face it, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. If anything, it’s hard to run a business, but what makes it worthwhile is reflecting on how far you’ve come. We all started somewhere and were impacted by significant moments along the way. It doesn’t matter if you’re in your first year of business, your fiftieth, or you haven’t even started. It’s about understanding the meaning of hard work and remembering that no matter where you are in your journey to take a moment to pause and reflect on what it took to get you where you are now.
The people you work with, the work you do, and the things you have accomplished are all a part of your success development. So, we ask, what makes you proud? What drives you? Where do you want to be?

02. Join The Movement
In celebration of achieving our twenty-year milestone, we want to encourage you to join our Pause and Reflect campaign. Together, we can spread words of encouragement, celebrations, and thanks by posting on social media and using the hashtag #pauseandreflect. Although the challenges we’ve faced in 2020 may have been overwhelming at times, taking a moment to pause and reflect over the last twenty years will likely give you hope, and confirm you’ve still made a lot of progress. So please, join the campaign and help us celebrate how great the last twenty years have been.

Pause and reflect, that’s what i’ve been doing this entire year. Without the tragedy that is 2020 I would have never been led to appreciate all the good things in my life. I usually save the mirror pics for the snap story, but one of those good things in my life is my awesome job, and we’re currently celebrating our 20th anniversary (hence the kickass shirt). 🎬Pauza w biegu życia.
Kawa już stygnie, a ja nie mam siły jej podnieść.
Jest ósma rano. Próbuję skupić się, żeby coś napisać.
Może wyjdzie z tego post, a może po prostu kilka myśli dla samego siebie.
Kot leży mi na nogach, ruszając łapkami naprzemiennie, jakby próbował pływać na sucho.
Jemu jest dobrze - ciepło, spokojnie, nic nie trzeba gonić.
Słyszę kroki żony niosące się do łazienki.
Ciche, bez wkur…ionego tonu 😉- i już czuję drobną ulgę.
W takich chwilach czuję, że poranek ma swoje małe, ukryte uroki.
A potem przyszło przypomnienie od życia - ból pleców, który sam sobie wyrządziłem, ignorując pas treningowy.
Potwierdzam: pas jest przydatny. 🫵
Żona mówiła: „Zadzwoń do lekarza, pomoże”, ale ja, jak to ja, myślałem, że samo przejdzie.
Tym razem jednak nie przeszło.
Siłownia? Zamknięta. Mówią, że właściciel nie udźwignął długów.
Szkoda tych pieniędzy, które wpłaciłem za cały rok, ale może tak miało być.
Bo gdyby nie ten ból i zamknięte drzwi, pewnie dalej gnałbym bez zatrzymania - od treningu do treningu, jak pętla, której nikt nie przerwał.
Spojrzałem przez okno. Na płotach i trawie unosi się delikatna rosa, połyskująca w pierwszych promieniach słońca.
Po linii płotu biegają wiewiórki - energiczne, jakby miały własny plan dnia.
Pewnie zbierają zapasy na nadchodzącą zimę.
Życie czasem wciska pauzę, tak po prostu.
Nie pyta, nie uprzedza, nie tłumaczy.
Po prostu stoisz w miejscu - bo plecy mówią „stop”, bo los tak chciał, bo przypadek uderzył w drzwi.
Żebyś usiadł. Popatrzył. Pomyślał.
Żebyś zobaczył, że nawet kawa, która zdążyła wystygnąć, może mieć smak - jeśli pijesz ją w spokoju, nie w biegu.
Świat jeszcze nie zdążył się rozpędzić, a ja - po raz pierwszy od dawna - też nie muszę.
Może właśnie o to chodzi w tych porankach.
Żeby zauważyć, że nawet gdy życie chwilowo się zatrzymuje, ono wciąż potrafi być piękne.
✨A Wy? Czy też czasem czujecie, że życie wciska pauzę i warto wtedy po prostu usiąść?
